功能一：實現紙箱上下兩面封口

實現紙箱上下兩面封口需要選擇一字型封箱機，也就是說封口效果是上下2條直線。但是對于紙箱的極限尺寸不同，又分為上下驅動型和左右驅動型，上下驅動型適合最小高度在110mm的紙箱，寬度適用范圍也比左右驅動型更大；左右驅動型適合最小紙箱高度在120mm的紙箱，根據紙箱的最小包裝高度就能區別出來用上下型的還是左右型的。

功能二：實現紙箱自動折蓋

這就要選擇折蓋封箱機，封箱效果還是一字型的，但是和前面講的封箱機不同之處是，紙箱蓋是機器自動完成的，實現了自動折蓋，簡化了勞動強度。

功能三：實現紙箱4個角封口

這種情況一般是先用封箱機完成封箱，然后銜接一段動力輸送線，輸送到打包機實現打包。這樣的設備由3個部分組成，價格較高。原理是將封箱機皮帶加長，搭入打包機桌面，封箱機的皮帶動力將紙箱輸送到打包機桌面，然后進行打包，這樣極大的節省了設備的投入成本，用無動力的單機實現了自動化輸送打包，這就是封箱打包一體機。
